ChemTreat, Inc. purchases
On Friday, November 20, Trident Technologies joined the ChemTreat organization.
We are excited about the additional financial commitment Danaher is making in our business as we
continue to grow and gain market share.
The Trident Technologies is a premier supplier to the Commercial & Institutional (C&I) and
manufacturing markets in Southern California and Western Mexico with over $8 million in
annual revenue. The company was founded by Paul Petersen and Dave Mrachek in 1986 , and
subsequently expanded into Mexico in partnership with Nelson Delgado. Their customer base
includes USC, UCLA, Kellogg’s, Qualcomm, Scripps Health, Sharps Healthcare, Goodrich
Aerospace, and Kaiser Permanente. Their corporate office is located in San Diego, California.
Effective today, we are creating a new and dynamic force within the water treatment market.
The joining of ChemTreat and Trident, two strong growth and customer satisfaction companies,
means we have the absolute best to offer: a winning sales force, unmatched field service support,
innovative products and services, and a superior focus on delivering the highest quality customer
In our last three strategic plans, we outlined an initiative to focus on C&I customers due to their
attractive size, growth, and profitability. The Trident acquisition further defines our commitment
to this important segment and accelerates this strategic initiative in several ways. Trident provides us
provides us critical mass and immediate sales and presence in C&I with a San Diego hub.
Trident has developed One Source Full Service business model to successfully serve C&I
customers, which can be duplicated nationwide within ChemTreat. Trident also strengthens our
West Coast presence, adding 13 field representatives in a target-rich, growth-oriented geography.
Trident compliments and strengthens our presence in high-growth Mexico with the addition of
21 sales and service representatives. Leveraging their strengths in Western Mexico creates a
combined organization with coast-to-coast presence. In addition, Trident Mexico’s experience
with operating facilities and large customer build-outs will provide ChemTreat additional sales
and market capabilities to further differentiate our winning business model
Together we will continue to build an enterprise that will dominate the water treatment market in
the western states and Mexico with the Industrial and C&I markets as its core. Our combined
team will advance treatment technology in the marketplace and set the highest standard of
performance and service in the industry.
We are tremendously excited about the expansion opportunities within the market space, as well
as the additional strategic geographic penetration and expansion in Mexico and western
United States. This new opportunity to grow and carve a unique position in the marketplace is
